Snorkelling at the Sinkhole

Enjoy the unique experience of snorkelling in a freshwater limestone sinkhole.

Due to the size of the pontoon, group size is limited to 8 participants. The experience includes a welcome briefing covering the history of the sinkhole and everything you need to know about snorkelling.  We will help with fitting you with mask, fins, snorkel and wetsuit (you are welcome to use your own mask and snorkel only).  Your snorkel tour will be guided by an experienced Snorkel Supervisor . In total, your snorkelling at Kilsby Sinkhole will take around two hours.  Please be aware we DO NOT allow FREEDIVING fins or weight belts, these sessions are for snorkelling only .

It is ESSENTIAL to please fill out our online Smart Waiver after you book by clicking on “Smart Waiver” , this will speed up your experience , leaving you with more time in the water.

Important Safety Information

Your safety is our first priority: snorkelling does involve physical exertion and immersion in cold (15°C) water, and access to the Sinkhole itself is via a ramp, steps and ladders – please consider whether you are physically fit and able to enter and exit the sinkhole before you book. If you are unsure, please click here to see our guidelines in a new tab. Minimum age for the snorkelling experience is 12 years old – under-16s must have their waivers signed by a guardian.

Cancellation policy 

We will give a full refund for any Covid related cancellations.

For all other cancellations we require 48 hours notice for a full refund and 24 hours notice for 50% refund .
